LSPedia Powers Bahrain’s National Track-and-Trace System with L-5 Innovation

In December 2024, LSPedia partnered with Medical Value Chain W.L.L. (MVC) in the Kingdom of Bahrain to launch SmartPass powered by OneScan. MVC, in partnership with LSPedia, is delivering the Level 5 (L-5) pharmaceutical traceability system to the Kingdom of Bahrain National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA). This blockchain-powered L-5 solutions boosts supply chain transparency, blocks counterfeit products, and protects patient safety across Bahrain’s healthcare system.

TheOneScan-SmartPass system, developed in collaboration with Medical Value Chain(MVC), integrates OneScan, LSPedia's proven compliance and traceability platform, with MVC's blockchain-powered SmartPass platform. This innovative solution leverages dual immutable distributed ledger technology to ensure real-time data sharing and regulatory compliance, thereby enhancing patient safety and supply chain security. By adopting this L-5 solution, Bahrain is setting a new standard for supply chain transparency and pharmaceutical security in the region.

This initiative is part of LSPedia's broader global expansion strategy, which includes the opening of a new office in Hyderabad, India, in January 2025.
