We're thrilled to announce that LSPedia has partnered with the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy to directly integrate with Pulse by NABP, a new digital platform that will bring visibility to the drug supply chain and help protect patients from counterfeit or substandard prescription medications.
The Pulse Interoperable Partner program is a new initiative that will provide a framework to integrate directly with Pulse and help accelerate interoperability in the drug supply chain. Pulse will leverage industry standards to help state regulators and trading partners across the supply chain benefit from a secure, efficient, and trusted communications platform that simplifies compliance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
The powerful combination of Pulse and the Authorized Trading Partner (ATP) module in LSPedia's OneScan solution will enable OneScan customers to streamline order processing with embedded license checks, removing the burden of manually managing and conducting status validation for large collections of trading partner licenses. This is yet another way that LSPedia helps its customers focus on core growth strategies: eliminating the distraction of license-related administrative work.
This partnership underscores LSPedia's commitment to innovation, and demonstrates how the integration of timely license verification capabilities provides a vital benefit to users at every point in the supply chain.
“The Pulse Interoperable Partner program is a critical step in our efforts to create a more interoperable drug supply chain,” said NABP Executive Director/Secretary Lemrey “Al” Carter, PharmD, MS, RPh. “By working with solution providers, we can ensure that all stakeholders in the supply chain have access to the information they need to comply with the key requirements of DSCSA, and we can provide tools to reduce manual administrative work. Most importantly, we are all working together to create a more secure supply chain to protect patients.”
Interoperability is a key challenge facing all pharmaceutical trading partners, and the coming months will be decisive in shaping the future of business in the supply chain. We're proud to be part of this landmark effort, and we'll continue driving opportunities to make DSCSA compliance faster, simpler, and more powerful for users at every level.
